Our Approach

We solve the problems that keep SharePoint users and administrators up at night.

Any SharePoint user knows that a properly architected and managed platform makes a big difference. Our approach is making sure that your SharePoint system performs at the highest level from day one plays a big role in ensuring your success.

Strategy and Planning

Organizations often get the IT department to be the champion of their SharePoint systems, whether or not they have the expertise to do the job.

We work with your existing IT resources in introducing SharePoint into the organization. We build the solution to have it co-exist with your current systems and identify opportunities to utilize it in ways that does not interfere but instead improve upon your existing system.

Information Architecture

An effective information architecture takes many factors into consideration, such as hierarchy, taxonomy of information, security, navigation, user experience, and leveraging SharePoint out-of-the-box features.

We’ll help you create a comprehensive structure for your content, permissions, and features to avoid the nightmare of Ad Hoc implementations.

User Adoption

Getting people to use SharePoint when they are already used to other systems can be a challenge. Implementation strategies, on-boarding practices, and ongoing support and training are a must for a successful transition.

But the process doesn’t end after the deployment. We make sure that that clients and their teams are well educated and equipped to enable them to make the most out of their SharePoint platform.

Our team of SharePoint experts are here to make your transition as seamless as possible. Implementation strategies, on-boarding practices, on-going support and training are a must for a successful SharePoint integration process.

Our Approach for a Successful Deployment

Blueshift believes that a successful collaboration strategy requires consideration of the organization, its people, how the people interact with each other, and how those interactions feed into efficiency, improvements or general knowledge sharing in a way that can be captured and shared with the larger organization.

We take an iterative approach that allows the organization to actively participate in the creation of a strategy or information road map (using technology as a support mechanism to this end) that works. Instead of the traditional delivery method, we try to move to a “show vs tell” model, creation of a lightweight viable product that will reduce the amount of “unknowns”. Our approach allows organizational users to provide insightful feedback in context, and reduce the risk of a solution being overly unique, creating sprawl, or over-customization.

We’re used to working within strict security protocols – so even if your business has a sensitive schedule, or data access regulations, we’ll work with you to make sure those processes are respected. Secure processes, flexible schedules for deployment in off hours, and a focus on maintaining your business ideals are core parts of why our methodology is successful.

Methodology

1. Educate and Learn

We sit down and take time to learn and understand the ins and outs of your business. Discussing the capabilities of the SharePoint platform as we explore different opportunities available to you. This will help us define which SharePoint solution will work best for your organization.

2. Assess

Through research into your organization, we get to know your users, how they work and the challenges they face every single day. We’ll develop personas based on our findings and make sure the SharePoint and Office 365 solutions we deploy make sense to them and integrate well with your systems.

3. Envision

We create a clear strategy to solve your business pain points and improve on the aspects that work on your current systems. Then we’ll propose a plan that works best for both parties and lay out how the new solution will be implemented.

4. Design

Develop a solid information architecture that makes sense to your users based on previously acquired knowledge. Using this structure, we’ll design a user interface that incorporates your brand identity to make your solution truly unique to your business. All this we do as we make sure that we’re creating an excellent user experience for your users.

5. Implement

Prototype. Develop. Test and Deliver. We employ a sprint methodology to help keep us moving through important tasks in quick, meaningful doses. Every two to three weeks, we aim to deploy a new feature, update systems, and solve problems within your infrastructure in the most efficient way possible.

6. Sustain

The process doesn’t end after the deployment. We make sure that clients and their teams are well educated and equipped to successfully integrate SharePoint into their daily routine. Through training, knowledge transfer, user adoption and customer support, we empower the users and enable them to make the most out of their SharePoint solution.
